CEIP Ma Luisa Cañas is a public school. The main activities are designed to provide a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. These activities aim to promote holistic growth, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
In our school we have a small garden. For us it is very important that our students learn values related to the care of the environment, recycling and healthy habits. We have a healthy breakfast program. We participate in sports activities organized by our Local Administration. We also participate in activities related to the proper use of the internet and social networks. The students join to extracurricular activities and field trips provide by the school every year.
Adnan Menderes Ortaokulu
Adnan Menderes Ortaokulu is a public school and opened in September 1994. General aim of the school is to improve the quality of the education services and strengthen the connection of the students with the school. The school wants to be a part of an international project to develop teacher’s professional skills, improve student’s success level through Erasmus+ projects.
The general aim of the preschool section is to provide children with a safe and nurturing environment that supports their holistic development through age-appropriate activities and experiences. These activities focus on fostering cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The main activities are designed to provide a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate educational experience for young children.
The main aim of the association is to support the school, foster a positive educational environment and enhance the educational experience of its students.
Advocacy: The association serves as advocates for their children and the school community, working to ensure that the school receives the resources and support it needs to provide a high-quality education. This involves meetings with school managers and district officials to discuss issues like funding, curriculum, and school policies.
Volunteering: Parents join as a volunteer their time to assist with various school activities and events. They help out in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, organizing school assemblies, and assisting with school-wide events like book fairs and school carnivals.
The school is an educational community that creates relationships and shares values that make the members of a society feel part of a true community. The school combines the role of "teaching to learn" with the one of "teaching to be". It places the pupil at the centre of its educational action in all its aspects: cognitive, affective, relational, physical, ethical and spiritual.
It begins in the pre-school, continues in the primary school and ends in the secondary school, laying the foundations for all the subsequent stages of life. It is aimed at the progressive conquest of the autonomy of being, thinking, doing and the discovery of identity.
Our school proposes to orient the student so that he/she knows how to place him/herself in the world, learns to live with others, to deal with diversity, to make autonomous and critical choices in the short and long term, to adapt to new needs, to guarantee him/herself a chance throughout his/her existence.
